Returns, cancellations and refunds, explained clearly.

1. Scope of this policy

This policy covers products purchased using the Buy Now checkout in the Millau Design In Stock catalogue. These orders currently include free delivery within Vadodara and may use manual payment instructions or Razorpay when online payment is enabled.

Interior design services, custom project quotations, sourced products, and purchases made under a separate written agreement may have project-specific terms. Those terms will be shared before confirmation where applicable.

2. Cancelling an order

You may request cancellation any time before dispatch. Contact us promptly with your order number. We do not charge a cancellation fee.

If the item has not been dispatched, we will cancel the order, release the stock reservation, and refund any payment already received. If dispatch has started, we will check whether delivery can still be stopped. If the item has already been delivered, the delivered-product rules below apply.

Millau Design may cancel an order when stock cannot be verified, the delivery address is outside Vadodara, payment is not completed within the stated reservation time, customer details cannot be verified, or fulfilment is not reasonably possible. Any captured payment for a cancelled order will be refunded.

3. When a delivered product is eligible

We will review a return, replacement, repair, or refund request when the product:

• arrives damaged or has a functional defect;
• is not the product ordered;
• is missing essential parts or accessories required for normal use;
• is materially different from the description, photographs, condition, or specifications confirmed before purchase;
• has an important condition issue that was not disclosed before payment; or
• is delivered substantially later than an agreed delivery date and the delay was not accepted by you.

Please report a delivery issue within 48 hours so we can review it promptly and while the delivery condition can still be verified. A delayed report does not remove any consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. Change of mind, size and suitability

After delivery, we normally do not accept a return only because the customer changed their mind, selected the wrong size, no longer needs the item, or finds that it does not fit through a doorway, lift, staircase, room layout, or intended location.

Please review dimensions, access, quantity, finish, color, placement, electrical requirements, and product suitability before ordering. Ask the Millau Design team when you need help checking these points.

Minor color differences caused by screens, lighting, photography, or natural material variation are not automatically defects. A material mismatch from the description or confirmed sample will still be reviewed fairly.

5. Items that may not qualify

A return may be declined when the issue results from misuse, improper handling, customer-arranged transport, unauthorized repair or alteration, incorrect installation by someone not assigned by Millau Design, accidental damage after delivery, or normal wear.

Marks, variations, or condition details that were clearly disclosed and accepted before payment are not treated as undisclosed defects. Custom-made, altered, personalized, or specially sourced products are normally not returnable for change of mind.

These exclusions do not apply where the product is defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied, materially not as described, or where a remedy is required by applicable law.

6. How to request a return or cancellation

Contact Millau Design using the details on this page and provide:

• your order number;
• the name and phone number used for the order;
• a short description of the issue;
• clear photographs or video showing the product and the issue; and
• a photograph of the packaging, label, accessories, or damaged area when relevant.

Keep the product, accessories, hardware, manuals, and packaging protected while the request is reviewed. Original packaging is helpful when reasonably available, but its absence alone does not cancel a valid defect claim.

7. Inspection, pickup and resolution

We may first request additional photographs, arrange an inspection, or schedule pickup from the original Vadodara delivery address. Do not courier or transport a product back without written confirmation, because unapproved transport costs may not be reimbursed.

For an accepted return, Millau Design arranges pickup within Vadodara at no charge. The product should be kept reasonably safe and returned with its available accessories and parts.

After review, the appropriate resolution may be repair, replacement, replacement of a missing part, an agreed price adjustment, or refund. Replacement depends on stock availability. If a suitable replacement is not available, an eligible claim may be resolved by refund.

8. Refund method and timing

Once a cancellation or return refund is approved, Millau Design will initiate it within 7 business days. Razorpay payments are normally refunded to the original payment method. Manual payments may be refunded to the verified bank account or UPI details supplied by the customer.

The refund includes the approved product amount and applicable GST recorded on the order. Delivery is already free, so there is no delivery charge to refund. A bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or payment gateway may require additional time to credit the amount after it has been initiated.

We will confirm when the refund has been initiated and may request reasonable account verification before sending a manual refund.
